Wuxi Fluoroplastic Chemical Equipment Factory is a specialized production factory of PTFE anti-corrosion chemical equipment. It is a member of Fluoroplastic Specialty Committee of China Plastics Association, and is the appointed fixed production factory authorized by the Ministry of Chemical Industry for the construction of engineering projects, to be selected by chemical design Units. Performances & applications:
Comparing with other products, PTFE has more excellent chemical performance and chemical stability. It is the most ideal material which can save and make up non-ferrous metals and solve the problem of anti-corrosion and sealing etc, which cannot be solved by non-ferrous metals and various alloyed metals. It has following features or advantages:
1. Wide working temperature range: It can be used in the temperature range of -200 ~ +250 ℃ for tower sections, vessels, pipelines, valves and containers etc in high-temperature and extremely cold industrial equipment..
2. Excellent chemical stability: It can resist the corrosion of almost all organic or inorganic chemical compounds (with the exception of fluorine element, chlorine trifluoride and smelted alkaline metals). It has become the most ideal anti-corrosion material for petroleum, chemical industry and atomic energy etc.
3. Excellent electric performances: Its de-electric strength is high. Its de-electric strength is 30 kV / mm. Its 0.1mm-thick film has a de-electric strength of 100 kV / mm. Its de-electric strength will not vary with temperature change.
4. Extraordinary non-adhesivity on surfaces: as its extraordinary molecular structure and low surface polarity, it will have no adhesive function to ordinary substances. Its surface energy only reaches 18 Dyne / cm. It has been widely used in light industries such as textiles, foodstuff and papermaking.
5. Low friction coefficient and high self-lubricating capability: Its friction coefficient is only 0.04. It has been widely used in shipbuilding, machinery, aviation and textiles etc.
